To thrive as a Test Engineer Intern, you need foundational knowledge in software testing principles, programming basics, and a relevant degree in computer science or engineering. Familiarity with test automation tools (such as Selenium or JUnit), bug tracking systems, and version control software is commonly required. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication are valuable soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities are vital for identifying software defects, ensuring product quality, and collaborating efficiently within development teams.
