Position: SAP Test Consultant / Lead (SAP OTC SME)
Location: Bannockburn, Illinois- day 1 on-site
Duration: Longterm Contract
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10-12 years in SAP OTC business process knowledge
    • Experience with software quality assurance and testing.
    • Proven experience testing SAP S/4HANA OTC modules.
    • Strong understanding of End-to-End business processes and their validation and verification / testing involving Salesforce and SAP.
    • Excellent interpretation and articulation, speed and accuracy, attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess SAP S/4HANA OTC modules and implemented solutions / workflows to determine test coverage.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in support of development, delivery and maintenance of comprehensive test coverage, test strategy and test planning.
  • Lead delivery of comprehensive documentation in support of business-driven workflows and End-to-End scenarios.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive requirements coverage.
  • Identify test requirements from business processes (BP) and specifications.
  • Support execution and optimization of data and functionality driven testing, set for both manual and automated execution.
  • Validate functional, integration, and regression testing workflows for complex business processes.
  • Support defect triage, assignment, validation and verification activities and provide detailed test reporting.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables while sustaining daily activities.
  • Communicate and interact effectively with appropriate stakeholders on problems, changes and enhancements.
  • Support the continuous improvement of testing process, procedures reporting & tools.
