Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary: $60,000-120,000 OTE (base + potential performance bonus)

What You'll Do

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on electric vehicles
  • Handle high-voltage systems safely and according to OEM procedures
  • Conduct reconditioning work to prepare vehicles for retail sale
  • Diagnose battery, charging, drivetrain, and software-related issues
  • Complete pre-purchase and post-reconditioning quality checks
  • Document all work accurately in Ever's internal systems
  • Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and inventory teams
  • Ensure all vehicles meet Ever's quality and safety standards
  • Stay current on EV technology and manufacturer service updates
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Qualifications & Fit

  • 2–7+ years of automotive technician experience (EV experience strongly preferred)
  • High-voltage safety training or willingness to obtain certification
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using scan tools and OEM diagnostic software
  • Ability to work independently with high ownership
  • Detail-oriented with strong quality standards
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Passion for EVs and future mobility

Technical Skills

  • Experience servicing EVs (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, etc. preferred)
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and scan software
  • Understanding of high-voltage battery systems
  • Familiarity with ADAS calibration and software updates a plus
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
  • ASE certifications a plus
