Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Terminal Operations, you will manage the overall CFS site operations. You'll handle the terminal P&L, safety compliance, customer service, staff development, and asset management. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to drive positive results while ensuring a bright future for yourself and STG.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage the terminal P&L to meet established budgets and forecasts
  • Ability to oversee two local facilities
  • Oversight of internal and external transportation groups that support local operations
  • Conflict resolution in an effort to ensure operational efficiencies
  • Manage all aspects of US Customs and Border Patrol relations such as CES (Customs Exam Sites), General Order, and Class 3 Bonded warehouse operations
  • Compliance oversight and assurance with US Customs
  • Establish and maintain local customer relations as necessary to support corporate sales goals
  • Oversee all dispatch, planning, and document management functions
  • Manage operational performance, including on-time pickup and delivery, volume, equipment balance, and empty miles
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, orderly terminal office and yard; ensure staff is adequately trained on all policies and procedures
  • Manage the effectiveness of the staff's interaction and relationship with ICs, including recruiting, training, and retaining ICs to meet established fleet goals

What You'll Bring:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
  • 5 - 8 years of logistics or transportation experience
  • Experience monitoring and interpreting operational metrics
  • Experience quantifying and reporting on financial performance metrics
  • Strong aptitude for understanding and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach, and influence employees; ability to identify and resolve problems

Compensation & Benefits Information:
  • Salary Range: $104,700 - $149,610
