Position Summary

Manages the planning and operations of a terminal. Oversees various terminal functions, including pickup and delivery, dock operations, and general administration.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates the activities of terminal employees to provide cost effective, timely, and quality service to customers.
  • Investigates customer complaints and resolves problems.
  • Provides the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Coordinates staffing levels and work scheduling to maximize terminal productivity.
  • Oversees compliance with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.
  • Uses software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and anticipate and resolve problems.
  • Interviews, selects, and onboards terminal employees.
  • Facilitates good employee relations through motivation, feedback, and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of terminal operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation management applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
Salary Range: $95,500.00 - $119,800.00 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus eligible.
