The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for Contract Substitute Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports Cosgrove Middle School.
*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.
Required Credentials: NYS Teacher certification: Any content area
Preferred Credentials: Successful prior teaching/student teaching experience; Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and N.G.L.S; Technologically proficient
Appointment: The contract substitute teacher is guaranteed employment for 100% of the in-person student days during the term of the appointment, and must provide exclusive availability to the Spencerport School District to serve as a per-diem substitute teacher.
Salary/Rate of Pay: $175 per day
