Job Title:Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Lansing MI 48909
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description:
  1. Responsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision making.
  2. Responsible for Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processes.
  3. Responsibility for complex Linux security model on DW ETL servers. (Servers are administered by another group, but our team is responsible for the security structure and authorizes user access to the groups and sudos)
  4. Responsibility for Teradata security and access.
  5. Conduct data architecture reviews and audits to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications:
  1. 8+ years experience - top requirement
  2. Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems
  3. Ability to provide targeted training and technical guidance to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support
  4. Minimum of 5 years of Linux experience
  5. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Previous government experience or State of Michigan experience
  2. Experience with cloud-based BI tools
  3. Experience with cloud-native platforms ( AWS, GCP, or Azure ) preferred.
