Job description

Hiring Target: 1 Fire Alarm / Detection Technician

Pay: $40-$50/hr. + up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Travel: ~90% National | Non-Union | Private Hotel Rooms

OPEN POSITION

  • 1 Industrial Fire Alarm / Detection & Control Technician

COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

  • $40-$50/hour depending on experience
  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus (Depending on NICET & Experience) (structured payouts)
  • $45/day per diem
  • Paid travel time
  • Company truck & fuel card
  • Private hotel room (never shared)

SIGN-ON BONUS STRUCTURE

  • 30% after 30 days
  • 30%after 90 days
  • 40% after 180 days
  • Bonus payments are contingent on continued employment. Unpaid portions are forfeited if employment ends early.
  • Early voluntary separation may require repayment.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS

  • ~90% national travel
  • Typical travel durations: 2-3 weeks
  • Project durations range from 2-4 weeks to 6 months-1 year

FIRE ALARM / DETECTION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Industrial fire alarm systems
  • Releasing panels and suppression interfaces
  • Detection and control logic
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • NICET II preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing, servicing, and inspecting fire alarm systems required.
  • Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Must have electrical/mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
  • Show up promptly to scheduled daily appointments ready to work.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder
