Description
Summary:
This position assist with coaching duties, operating under NCAA bylaws. Assist the head tennis coach with recruitment and training for athletic competition, and participate in the overall coordination of the program, as appropriate.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist head tennis coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competition.
  • Assist in the identification and recruitment of potential student-athletes for the tennis program, in accordance with and NCAA rules, regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to student-athletes within the tennis program.
  • Delegate and multi-task responsibilities that is assigned by the head tennis coach.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of coaching experience in high school or collegiate level.
  • Must be able to travel for recruitment.
