Position Details
POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Clerk is responsible for entering and verifying data as well as developing various analyses and reports. Enters all student information data utilizing the district's Student Information System.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
  1. Organizes and manages all record information such as school credit system, admissions process, tuition payments, and school databases utilizing Student Information Systems.
  2. Collates and enters course request data to create and maintain class lists; adds and corrects courses as directed.
  3. Prints school schedules, reports, labels, mailings, as needed.
  4. Answers phones and assists parents, staff, teachers, and students as needed.
  5. Scan submitted mental health, suicide, threat, sexual incident screenings, 504 and safety plans into Student Success docuware cabinet to give access to the District's school counselors, psychologists, social workers and principals. Provide monthly/quarterly reports to Directors.
  6. Communicate identified needs of the Student Success and Multi-Tiered Systems Support (MTSS) department and partner with IT to create technical solutions and tools to increase efficiency for school teams (e.g. Student Success docuware cabinet MTSS Synergy Intervention tab, Synergy Master Screening and Action Plan, improving Dashboard SIT form user interface)
  7. Partner with Systems Planning and Performance to identify data sources and to create and run reports for program evaluation of Student Success and MTSS initiatives.
  8. Track District MTSS fidelity assessments such as the Culturally Responsive Tiered Fidelity Inventory Tool and Fidelity Implementation Tool and be able to provide data reports by schools in order to communicate next steps in planning.
  9. Be able to respond to data requests including discipline referrals, expulsions & suspensions, restraint & seclusion and provide summaries of reports to Administrators for use of presentations.
  10. Work collaboratively with IT, Student Success, and MTSS to align data requests and provide support through the new intervention data tracking tool (TBA).
  11. Working knowledge and experience with updating Websites in order to keep Student Success and MTSS Websites up to date.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Knowledge of:
  • Must be knowledgeable of high school graduation requirements.

Ability to:
  • Interact professionally with various groups of people.
  • Manage a high volume workload with accuracy.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in teamwork setting.
  • Handle routine tasks independently and limited supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High school diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Previous experience in general office environment; knowledge of general office procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Experience in a K-12 public school district is preferred.
  2. Multilingual Abilities.
  3. Proficiency with Student Information Systems (Synergy) is highly preferred.
  4. Proficiency with various software programs such as MS Office, including Access, preferred.

HOURLY RATE RANGE: $21.84 - $28.04
