Job description

Job Title: EHS Specialist

Location: Greenfield, IN

Duration: Full-Time


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, engineering or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Seven or more years of progressive EHS experience, including at least three years leading EHS programs across multiple sites or within a comparably complex operation.

Experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing or another material-handling-intensive environment.

Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental requirements, powered industrial trucks, ergonomics, incident investigation, emergency response and contractor safety.

Strong analytical, communication, training and influencing skills; valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements.

Preferred

CSP, ASP, CIH, CHST or similar certification; OSHA 30-hour or OSHA 511/501 coursework.

Experience in food-grade or temperature-controlled warehousing, Cal/OSHA-regulated operations, temporary labor, automation or facility expansion.

Experience with workers' compensation, insurance loss-control, EHS technology or performance dashboards; Spanish-language capability is valued.
