Job description

DBA Construction is seeking Carpenters for at multiple projects located near Phoenix, AZ.
Primary Responsibilities
Constructing and maintaining safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
Sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling & other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Concrete Carpenter knowledge and skill to execute concrete forming and form systems install as well as placement of concrete as well for multiple types concrete structures including foundation concrete footings and grade beams column and wall formwork (all types: Gang forms, Stick Build, Slip Forms, etc), set anchor bolts templates, rebar templates, erect temporary handrails and walk planks and associated safety related items, also does sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling & other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements for this position include:
3 years of construction experience and must be able to read basic drawings and have training on construction safety protocols (i.e. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform (boom and scissor).
This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.
A high school diploma or GED are a plus.
Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects, work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs, 75% of the time.
Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, work outside and must be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
