Job description

Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide technical support across a diverse enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and end-user issues while supporting both office and warehouse technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong desktop support experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Citrix, AWS desktop environments, and Android devices.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Support end users with account access, connectivity issues, device configurations, and application-related problems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, operating system, and peripheral device issues.
  • Assist with desktop deployments, upgrades, imaging, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving Ethernet, wireless networks, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Configure and support mobile devices and endpoint management solutions, including SOTI (preferred).
  • Support warehouse technologies, including Zebra printers, handheld scanners, wearable devices, and mobile terminals.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to drive resolution.
  • Adhere to security standards and best practices for endpoint management and desktop support.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise desktop environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting Citrix environments, Microsoft 365, and virtual desktop technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, software installation, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Ethernet, wireless networking, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Knowledge of desktop security best practices and endpoint support procedures.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting AWS desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with Android device support and SOTI mobile device management.
  • Experience supporting warehouse and distribution center technologies.
  • Knowledge of Zebra printers, barcode scanners, wearable devices, and handheld terminals.
  • Experience working in high-volume enterprise support environments.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
