Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Department of Art & Art History is a dynamic center for research, teaching, and learning within the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The department is comprised of twenty full-time faculty and seven staff members. It supports BA, BFA, and MFA degrees in Studio Art; and BA, MA and joint MA/MSLS or MSIS, and PhD degrees in Art History. These programs of study hone our students' skills in artistic and intellectual inquiry by giving them analytical and communication skills to engage in critical creative and scholarly work, as well as the ability to think across disciplines, guiding them to be curious, inventive, responsible scholars, artists, and members of the community.
Position Summary
Visiting Lecturer position in the Department of Art & Art History responsible for teaching one course.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
MFA degree and experience teaching video art courses.
