Position Summary
Position Summary: The Student-Statistics and Game Management Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Athletics Department by assisting with in-game statistics and record keeping, in-game live streaming production, and other in-game management duties.

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities: Within the scope of college policies and procedures, this position:
Assists with all game-related statistics and scorekeeping
Distributes stat sheets to coaches, athletic director, and other necessary game officials
Assists with set-up and take down of live streaming equipment
Ensures all game management equipment is set up and working properly (i.e. microphone, scoreboard etc)
Observes and enforces all rules and regulations of the assigned facility; communicates accurate information to assigned supervisor in a timely manner; seeks assistance from supervisor as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education and Experience; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Enrollment at Cochise College with a minimum of 6 credits per semester and 3 credits in the summer
Possess and maintain a 2.0 G.P.A or higher
Students attending Cochise College on an F-1 Visa require full-time enrollment with a minimum of 12 credits per semester and six credits in the summer
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and ability to follow college policies and procedures
Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
Knowledge of the proper operation of and the ability to use personal computers and standard office equipment
Ability to operate video equipment and statistics software
Ability to work accurately, efficiently, effectively, and independently with all types of data
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to relate to others in a professional, helpful manner
Ability to multi-task and organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion with an attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing to team environment
Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and take appropriate actions to resolve problems using independent judgment and decision-making processes
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department staff, faculty, students and the public
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Work Environment:Work is primarily performed under general supervision. Incumbent generally performs work in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls.
Physical Requirements: Essential functions of this position require: lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body; involves sitting majority of time; walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met
Mental Application: Utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability and creative problem solving skills are important
