RATING SPECIALIST - HYBRID IN MA, MI & VA

A nationally industry-leading Property & Casualty insurance company that's been honored as One of America's Top Employers (Forbes) and a Best Place to Work (Business Insurance) is seeking bright, motivated people for a Rating Specialist position. This is a stable, hybrid role based out of Worcester, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely calculation of insurance premiums for commercial risks using both automated systems and manual rating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

·  You are responsible for determining the insurance premium for risks using both automated and manual methods. ·  Completing the timely and accurate issuance of Commercial Lines policies, quotes, endorsements, non-renewals, rewrites, cancellations, and other subsequent transactions. ·  Utilizing a variety of systems and resources for rating and issuing tasks. ·  Ensuring all work meets quality and service standards so that customers, agents, and insureds receive timely and accurate products. ·  Developing and applying knowledge of rating processes for multiple lines of business (e.g., Workers Comp, Auto, Package). ·  Partnering with Commercial Lines Underwriters and Underwriting Technicians to deliver a high-quality product. ·  The rating and issuance tasks typically cover small and middle-market business across multiple regions.

Qualifications:

·  High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a customer service and data-driven environment (call center experience is preferred).

·  Driven to be proficient with service delivery and quality metrics, insurance policy concepts, billing practices and technical troubleshooting skills

·  Comfortable navigating PCs and standard business software, and able to provide technical support and troubleshooting.

·  Able to commit to the entirety of the virtual training program and receptive to coaching and feedback
