Launch Your Nursing Career: Make a Meaningful Impact in Acute Care Nephrology

Are you a recent nursing graduate looking to build a strong clinical foundation? DaVita is seeking dedicated new grad RNs to provide specialized dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where you'll work directly with patients in the ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. If you are eager to learn, adapt quickly, and start your career on the front lines of critical care, we will give you the training and tools you need to succeed.

Locations/Required Travel: Battle Creek & Marshall, MI

Schedule: Day Shift, Full Time

What You'll Do:

  • Develop Advanced Skills: Learn to deliver complex inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.

  • Work as a Team: Collaborate alongside experienced hospital teams and DaVita clinical mentors who are invested in your growth.

  • Master Patient Care: Monitor patients, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes in high-acuity settings.

  • Lead with Confidence: Learn to support and oversee patient care with the help of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).

  • Embrace the Pace: Build confidence and adaptability in a dynamic hospital environment where no two days are the same.

What to Expect:

  • Comprehensive Paid Training: No prior nursing or dialysis experience is required! We provide a robust, hands-on training program designed specifically to support your transition from the classroom to clinical practice.

  • Broad Clinical Exposure: Work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between local facilities to maximize your learning.

  • Dynamic Scheduling: Schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays. Daily schedules change based on patient needs, offering a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice (or recently graduated and preparing to take the NCLEX).

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.

  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and thrive in an acute care setting.

  • Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available).
