Your Role as a Home Care Registered Nurse (RN):
As a Registered Nurse (RN) with VRNS, you'll provide skilled nursing services directly in patients' homes. You'll work closely with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other members of the care team to promote health, manage medical conditions, support independence, and improve quality of life. Your responsibilities may include:
  • Providing skilled nursing treatments and interventions
  • Administering medications and treatments as ordered
  • Monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
  • Educating patients and caregivers regarding medications, treatments, disease management, and safety
  • Providing wound care and other skilled nursing services as appropriate
  • Completing accurate and timely electronic documentation
