Registered Nurse (Full-Time)
Pay: 43.25-52.28/hr
Shift Differentials:
  • 3pm-11pm - $2
  • 11pm-7am - $4

Full-Time Sign-On Bonuses (Paid in Installments Over 5 Years)
  • Day Shift: $35,000
  • Night Shift: $50,000

Schedule: Full-time, Days (7a-7:30p) Nights (7p-7:30a) (Including every other weekend)
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a meaningful role where your skills directly contribute to patient recovery? At Recovery Centers of America (RCA), we prioritize personalized, evidence-based treatment to help individuals overcome substance use disorders. Become a vital part of our team and support our mission to guide patients toward lasting recovery.
What You'll Do
As an RN at RCA, you will:
  • Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients to gather case history.
  • Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a therapeutic environment, utilizing verbal de-escalation and therapeutic communication.
  • Monitor patients utilizing CIWA/COWS assessments and measuring vital signs during their detoxification, providing medication as ordered and contacted medical providers when necessary.
  • Consult with medical and other behavioral healthcare staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  • Prepare paperwork and medications for patients discharging next shift.
  • Administer and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications.
  • Arrange further medical attention when necessary.

Job Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or the ability to get licensed)
  • Previous experience working in behavioral health or addiction is preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with CIWA/COWS assessments preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology preferred
  • Availability to work rotating weekends, Saturday and Sunday. 
  • Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification responds well to questions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; thorough knowledge of facility proprietary systems.
