Job description

For an international customer we are looking for a UX Designer (f/m/d). Your tasks will be: UX Research – Conduct and document research activities in the Client ́s research repository, ensuring thorough insights into user needs and pain points Collect User Insights – Implement appropriate research methods such as on‐site observations, interviews, user tests, surveys, heuristic evaluation and literature reviews to gather feedback throughout the project Create Personas and Experience Maps – Maintain and update detailed personas and experience maps based on user research and data analysis UX Design – Use our Figma design system, realize wireframes and produce clickable prototypes, ensure functional and intuitive interfaces Validate design concepts and interactive prototypes through user tests Present findings and data‐driven recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable report Run sufficient design iteration loops based on user feedback, testing, and stakeholder alignment to refine and improve the product Prepare and lead workshops focused on functional framing, ideation, and co‐design with the relevant stakeholders (client ́s product team and end‐users). Arrange adhoc sessions for user tests and focus groups when necessary Provide feedback and advice to the UX Chapter to ensure common UX standards Produce user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.

Present ideas, concepts, and design solutions to various stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding Actively participate in broader UX Chapter and Product Team activities such as feedback and knowledge sharing sessions to ensure common UX standards Following know‐how is required: Formal qualification (bachelor's or master's degree, certification) in UX and Research is required 7+ years experience of qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as on‐site observations, user testing, user interviews 5+ years expertise in UX/UI design for complex workflows Experience in design thinking in context of agile projects Experience creating wireframes, user flow, prototypes and high‐fidelity design Experience with interaction design and information architecture Attention to details and work delivered in high standard Proficient in design software (Figma) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint, Miro) Ability to use a design system in Figma Technical understanding how web applications are built Experience with projects with AI, LLM or chatbot Ability to use the research tool Condens is a plus Experience within the energy sector is a big plus Experience in projects with scientific computing and technical applications, mathematical optimization, power system design and explainable AI is a plus Fluent German and English (min.
