Job description

We are seeking a skilled Identity & Systems Administrator to join the Identity and Data Management team. This role focuses on supporting print management solutions, network file share security, Active Directory user administration, and secure data access across state agencies.

  • Location: Concord, NH 03301 (Local candidates only)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days/week Onsite)
  • Role Type: Contract (August 2026 – May 2027)
  • Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week (EST)
  • Interview: In-Person Only (Onsite at Concord location)

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Printing Administration: Manage print servers, print queue configurations, user permissions, device deployments, decommissioning, and DNS/DHCP scanning troubleshooting.
  • File Server & SMB Security: Manage Windows File Servers, SMB-based network scanning, and folder/share level security access.
  • Identity & Access Management: Administer user access in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, FTI, and FERPA standards.
  • System Support & Triage: Triage and resolve tier-2 Help Desk requests, manage DHCP reservations, and perform file recoveries using Volume Shadow Services (VSS).
  • Scripting & Automation: Utilize PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripts to optimize user administration and operational workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Network Printing: 3+ years of experience with network printing administration, deployments, queue configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • File Server & SMB: 3+ years of experience with Windows File Server, SMB network scanning, and folder/share security model management.
  • Active Directory & Azure AD: 3+ years managing user identities and endpoint access across hybrid Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
  • Windows Server & Networking: 3+ years managing Windows Server (2016–2022) and core network services (DNS, DHCP, IP protocols).
  • Security Compliance: Must pass a CJIS-level fingerprint background check following onboarding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph scripting for administrative automation.
  • Experience with backup tools and file restoration using Volume Shadow Services (VSS).
  • Backend user access troubleshooting for MS SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
