Job Title: General Production Worker (Loader/Unloader)

Shift: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri (times may vary due to truck arrival times)

Pay: $21/hr

Job Description

The Tank Farm Attendant/General Laborer loads and unloads rail cars, accurately documents product shipments, and supports basic product testing activities in a fast-paced rail yard environment. This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, using hand and power tools, and performing hands-on, physical work while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload rail cars safely and efficiently, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Work outdoors in a rail yard environment in varying weather conditions while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • Accurately document all incoming and outgoing product shipments to ensure proper tracking and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with product testing procedures, including learning and applying basic oil testing methods as directed.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic tasks, minor maintenance, and support operations in the tank farm.
  • Perform general labor duties as needed to support overall tank farm operations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to protect yourself, coworkers, and equipment in an industrial environment.

Essential Skills

  • Experience performing general labor or production work in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfort working outdoors in a rail yard environment in varying weather conditions.

Work Environment
