Prime Staffing is seeking a travel Perfusionist for a travel job in Memphis, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) to join a leading cardiac surgery team. The Perfusionist will operate and manage the heart-lung (cardiopulmonary bypass) machine during cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal circulation and oxygenation while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary team. Pediatric perfusion experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the heart-lung machine during open-heart and cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Monitor and maintain blood circulation, oxygenation, anticoagulation, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
  • Prepare, inspect, and maintain perfusion equipment before and after each case.
  • Assist with ECMO and other mechanical circulatory support when required.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and troubleshoot perfusion equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)Required
  • Active Tennessee Perfusionist LicenseRequired
  • Pediatric perfusion experience preferred
  • Strong cardiac surgery and cardiopulmonary bypass experience
Schedule
  • Day Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Must remain until the completion of any ongoing OR case after 3:00 PM
  • On-Call: Required every night while on service
