Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Bozeman, MT

Assignment Details:

  • Position: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
  • Location: Bozeman, MT
  • Shift: Days – 4×10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 2.5 years of recent Sterile Processing experience in an acute care hospital.

Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CBSPD or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) Certification

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Acute Care Hospital Operating Room (OR)
  • Decontamination and disinfection of surgical instruments
  • Flexible endoscope reprocessing
  • Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, and EGD scopes
  • Use of chemical agents for decontamination
  • Cleaning and processing medical equipment, including crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps
  • Proper instrument labeling and documentation
  • Equipment preparation, handling, and organization of surgical trays
  • Scope and probe reprocessing
  • Specialty equipment processing
  • Endoscopy
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
