Description & Requirements
Maximus is seeking dedicated and dynamic Limited Service Training Coordinators to support the Maryland Health Insurance Exchange (MD HIX) project. In this temporary role, you will play a critical part in the development and delivery of training programs that prepare staff to provide exceptional service and achieve operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and development, enjoys facilitating engaging training sessions, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a Limited Service Training Coordinator 1, you will deliver instructor-led training, support curriculum development, maintain training resources, and partner with operational leaders to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to workforce readiness, continuous improvement initiatives, and the overall success of the MD HIX program.

This is a temporary assignment which is expected to last approximately 3 to 6 months, based on business and operational requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering training programs to various levels of project staff assisting with curriculum development, reviewing course materials, administering assessments and monitoring performance of classroom participants.
- Teach instructional programs in accordance with training or other course requirements and organize materials to be presented.
- Deliver Instructor led training programs as needed to achieve business outcomes.
- Provide administrative support to Training classes and Training Team members, including class rosters, attendance sheets, assessments, test logs, evaluations, etc.
- May assist in scheduling of training sessions and individual onsite and offsite training programs, and supporting, when necessary, the coordination of training room set-up, audio-visual set-up, supplies and participant notification for training events.
- Participate in process and team meetings in order to identify and recommend changes to policies and procedures.
- Follow the regulatory approval and document management process when creating or updating training materials.
- Support Training Specialists in the classroom as needed.
- Compile training evaluations to support ongoing revisions to Training programs.
- Develop and create training resources and maintain/update systems training environment and library of training resources to align with operational excellence.
- Responsible for adhering to established safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Must currently be employed on the Maryland Health Insurance Exchange (MD HIX) program here at Maximus.
Home Office Requirements
- Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router.
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
