Front Desk Receptionist (Temporary โ€“ Maternity Leave Coverage)

Position: Front Desk/Receptionist

Compensation: $25/hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Temporary (3โ€“4-month)

Schedule: 3 days = 20-24 hours/week

Location: Irvine - Trading Academy Center


About the Role

Trading Academy is seeking two professional, personable, and organized Front Desk Receptionists to join our Irvine team on a temporary basis. This position provides maternity leave coverage and is expected to last approximately 3-4 months. The two hires will choose one of two schedules, which together provide full coverage Monday through Friday at Irvine Trading Academyโ€™s Fitch Avenue center.

As the first person visitors, students, and guests meet when they arrive, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional experience while supporting the daily operations of our educational training center.

This position is an excellent fit for someone between permanent opportunities, returning to the workforce, or seeking a meaningful full-time temporary assignment with a collaborative, professional team.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome students, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage the front desk and reception area
  • Coordinate incoming mail, deliveries, and office supplies
  • Schedule conference rooms and assist with administrative projects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of receptionist, front desk, hospitality, or administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly, and dependable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service
Schedule
  • 20-24 hours/week
  • Mon-Tue-Wed OR Wed-Thu-Fri
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 30 minute lunch break
  • Start date = 7/27/26
