Qualifications

  • State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
  • Certifications NRP (AHA)
  • Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
  • Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Neonatal ICU (NICU) in last 3 years.
  • Skills Assessment NEI skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
  • Additional Confirmations I have not requested more than one holiday off during my assignment.
  • Additional Confirmations Experience with post-op patients, g-tubes, trach/vents management, and various modes of invasive/noninvasive ventilation is required.
  • Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Invasive Hemodynamic monitoring, Phlebotomy, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Tracheostomy care/management, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), and Ventilator management is required.
  • Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted.
  • Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
  • Requested Time Off Up to 14 days of time off can be requested.
