Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced RNs & LPNs to join our Ventilator & Tracheostomy Unit at Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing in Douglasville, GA. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, utilizing your expertise in ventilator management and tracheostomy care.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct patient care to ventilator-dependent patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans 

  • Monitor and manage patients' ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and other life-sustaining equipment 

  • Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning, cleaning, and dressing the tracheostomy site 

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans 

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care 

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction 

  • Stay current with industry developments, evidence-based practices, and regulatory requirements 

Requirements: 

  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of Georgia 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
