Apartment Leasing Professional (Tax Credit / LIHTC Experience)
Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced Apartment Leasing Professionals with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience who are dependable, motivated, and customer service-driven. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-focused, resident-centered environment.
Job Duties
  • Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the features and benefits of the community
  • Guide prospective residents through the application and leasing process
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC/TAX CREDIT housing regulations throughout the leasing process
  • Process lease agreements, renewals, move-in/move-out documentation, and income certifications
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Accurately handle deposits and rent payments
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure files meet audit standards
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of apartment leasing experience with LIHTC/TAX CREDIT housing
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Yardi, OneSite, or similar leasing software
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to tour properties, including walking and stair climbing
  • Availability to work weekends as needed
