Job Details

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on ISO Tanks. Determines the overall mechanical condition of ISO Tanks, diagnoses component malfunctions, and initiates repair actions. Properly annotates all maintenance and labor performed in maintenance management software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges

  • Drain tank and insuring tank is dry

  • Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments

  • Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues

  • Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts

  • Lubricate and clean parts

  • Operate lathe, drill press and grinders

  • Use hand tools and power tools

  • Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards

  • Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

  • Candidates will possess a mechanical background

  • Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Detailed oriented

  • Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks

  • Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school preferred, but not required.

  • This is a full-time position, and days of work are Monday through Friday.
