We are a family-owned Minnesota based business with a shop in Stanley, North Dakota. As our company continues to grow- we are currently hiring for a 1st shift Tank Cargo Inspector Technician. We are looking for someone detail oriented, mechanically inclined, with a great attitude. You would be responsible for the complete testing and inspections of cargo tank vessels of tanks and trailers.

SCHEDULE:


Monday -Friday, 1st shift, 7am- 4pm

PAY RANGE:


Up to $40+/hr (open to discussion- varies based on skillset and experience)



ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


• Performs routine servicing and repairs of tankers.

• Diagnose, troubleshooting of Tank/Trailer repairs

• Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems

• Inspect the overall condition of Tankers to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.

• Compile inspection reports detailing their findings

• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.

• Ensure the final work product meets quality standards

• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

Requirements:

Position Requirements:

  • Great work ethic
  • 3 years of Cargo Tank experience (required)
  • Willingness to jump in and help out where needed
  • Attention to details
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience or technical training
  • DOT (certification a plus)
  • CDL (preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
  • Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
  • Honesty and respect
