Marketing Coordinator
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and creative
Marketing Coordinator to support business development and marketing initiatives within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This role is responsible for coordinating and producing high-quality proposal submissions, presentation materials, award applications, and marketing collateral. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines, excels at managing multiple priorities, and possesses strong writing, design, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with studio leaders and technical teams to plan, coordinate, write, edit, and produce compelling RFP/RFQ responses within strict deadlines.
- Design and develop client-facing presentations for interviews, speaking engagements, and business development opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing Managers to support the development and execution of pursuit and proposal strategies.
- Maintain and update staff resumes, project profiles, and marketing databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of industry awards and recognition programs.
- Support Graphic Design Managers with marketing collateral, including brochures, conference materials, trade show displays, signage, and promotional assets.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with company branding standards and quality expectations.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, business development, or proposal coordination.
- Prior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, with experience creating and formatting lengthy, document-intensive proposals.
- Strong proposal writing, technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free deliverables.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong "can-do" attitude.
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/hr.
