POSITION INFORMATION
  • Baker School District is currently seeking two candidates for six Part-Time community based Student Worker positions.
  • Work schedule and hours will be determined by the employers.
  • This is a non-benefited position.
  • Up to 120 hours.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a student worker for the Baker School District, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience as part of your education. This position is open to students who are at least 16 years of age at the time of application. The primary responsibility of a student worker is to assist in the assigned department or area. Student workers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the workplace. Please note, if you are unable to be at school, you are also unable to work that day.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Duties and responsibilities will be specific to the assigned department, site, or area.
  2. Maintain a consistent professional demeanor.
  3. Must maintain professional boundaries.
  4. Keep information confidential.
  5. Report to the department, site, or area in accordance with the established hours of work agreed upon with the supervisor.
  6. Accurately report attendance in the prescribed manner.
  7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor, Superintendent, or designee.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must qualify for the Pre ETS Program.

SALARY:
  • Hourly Rate of $14.05 per hour.

DISTRICT POLICY
It is the District's policy to provide veterans and disabled veterans with preference as required by law.
