Job Responsibilities
In coordination with the Library Director, the ATC Library STEAM Specialist markets, supports, and guides faculty, students, and community patrons with educational technologies in the Library's STEAM Room. This position also maintains the STEAM equipment and identifies new technology to be added.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist faculty, students, and community patrons utilizing STEAM technology.
  • Collaborate with faculty to incorporate STEAM technologies into courses.
  • Maintain STEAM equipment, including procurement of supplies and parts, as needed.
  • Assist with marketing STEAM technology to faculty and students.
  • Serve as a backup for the library circulation desk.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate's degree with related experience in virtual reality technology required. Knowledge of educational technology equipment repair and maintenance is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Computer Technology or Computer Science preferred. Experience with Adobe applications, willing to work flexible hours, and ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail are also preferred.
