Software Engineer III – Embedded

Location: 9801 Muirlands Boulevard Irvine, CA 92618 Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)

Brief Description: Designs and develops embedded software for complex defense and aerospace systems, including ammunition handling, thermal management, aeromechanical, and turbomachinery applications. Performs requirements analysis, architecture design, module implementation, and verification using C/C++. Conducts algorithm development, modeling, and simulation in MATLAB to optimize system performance. Ensures compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards throughout the software lifecycle. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on in-house and field integration and testing. Requires strong knowledge of hardware interfaces, SDLC models, and embedded system development best practices. Education: Bachelor's degree (BSCS/BSEE)
