Job Summary
The Bartender will be passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through high-quality service and expertly crafted beverages. You'll be responsible for pouring drinks, serving guests, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversation.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and bar specials.
  • Check customer identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
  • Monitor guest behavior and manage alcohol consumption responsibly.
  • Operate POS systems, take orders, and process payments accurately.
  • Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs or changing out kegs, if needed.
  • Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible beverage service guidelines.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Requirements
Education, Skills & Knowledge
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and bar equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus

Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
  • Fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
