Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician

We're seeking a detail-oriented Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician to support wafer fabrication processes within a highly advanced cleanroom environment. If you have experience working with semiconductors, cleanrooms, optics, microscopy, or precision manufacturing, this is your opportunity to grow your career while working with cutting-edge equipment and processes.
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC 28262
POSITION: Rigth to Hire
SCHEDULE: 8AM - 5PM
PAY RATE: $22.50/hour
SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What You'll Do
As part of our manufacturing team, you'll help process semiconductor wafers through key stages of production while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

  • Process 200mm wafers through Lithography, Deposition, and Etch processes
  • Operate and monitor production equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Utilize metrology equipment and analyze measurement data to ensure product quality
  • Maintain detailed production records, SPC charts, and equipment data logs
  • Work within an ISO Class 4 cleanroom environment while following established 5S practices
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and safely handle chemicals as required
  • Coordinate and schedule work-in-process (WIP) to support production and engineering priorities
  • Follow procedures and instructions provided through both paper and digital travelers
  • Inspect products and appropriately disposition nonconforming material
  • Support senior technicians and engineers in maintaining efficient manufacturing operations
  • At advanced skill levels, technicians may also perform:
  • Equipment setup and calibration
  • Routine preventative maintenance activities
  • Process troubleshooting and optimization support


Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, or technical production experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable standing for 3-5 hours or sitting for 4-8 hours during a shift
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity and steady hands for precision work
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications

Export Compliance Requirement
