***MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONBOARDING AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING IN TIMELY FASHION*** (all training paid at state minimum and paid after 1st week of employment)

At Port Security Services, our guards are responsible for providing services at critical infrastructure facilities and complying with stringent government regulations. Port Security Services is a professional organization, comprised of honest, hard-working individuals. Starting salary $16.50-17.00with a review after 90 days, all online mandatory training is paid by Port Security Services upon completion





Job Duties:

  • Ensure personnel safety of staff, visitors and property
  • Respond and investigate appropriately to situations reported
  • Check identification, vehicle decals, and badges of persons entering the facility
  • Maintain logs and records of occurrences via daily activity reports, crew lists, gate lists, etc.
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
  • We have openings at several sites and for varying overnight shifts. Preference will be given to applicants with the most flexibility.


Requirements - Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a valid/ unexpired Security Officer License
  • Possess a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker's Identification Card, obtained via tsa.gov)
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior security experience
  • Have a valid/ non-suspended/ unexpired Drivers License
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is a plus
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
  • Have basic computer knowledge
