Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-7:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.62 per hour

Employment Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Position Summary

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officer to provide security services at a pharmaceutical facility in Greenwich, CT . The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and company property while adhering to all site policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitorandpatrolassignedareasofthepharmaceuticalfacility.

• Controlaccesstothesitebyverifyingemployee,visitor,andcontractorcredentials.

• Conductroutinesecurityinspectionsandfootpatrols.

• Monitorsurveillancesystemsandsecurityequipment.

• Respondpromptlytoalarms,emergencies,andsecurityincidents.

• Completedetailedincidentreportsanddailyactivitylogs.

• Assistwithvisitormanagementandaccesscontrolprocedures.

• Enforcesitepolicies,safetyregulations,andsecurityprotocols.

• Reporthazards,suspiciousactivities,andsecurityconcernstomanagement.

• Provideexceptionalcustomerservicewhilemaintainingaprofessionalsecuritypresence.

Qualifications

• HighschooldiplomaorGEDrequired.

• Previoussecurityexperiencepreferred.

• ValidConnecticutSecurityOfficerCertification(GuardCard)preferred.

• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.

• Abilitytoremaincalmandmakesounddecisionsinemergencysituations.

• Basiccomputerproficiencyandreport-writingskills.

• Reliabletransportationanddependableattendance.

• Abilitytostandandwalkforextendedperiods.
