ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lima, Ohio.

Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

Job Description

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on their shift. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing age-specific criteria and scientific knowledge along with clinical skills. Additionally, the RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries. Flexibility with work schedule changes is required.

Schedule

This position involves varied 12-hour shifts, which may include both day and night rotations. Specific schedule requests are negotiable.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of Obstetrical (OB) nursing experience - Required
  • Completion of at least one travel assignment - Required
  • Ability to function as a first assist and scrub in OB cases - Highly Preferred
  • Active RN license in Ohio or compact state - Required
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Required
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification - Required
  • Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification - Required
  • Active S.T.A.B.L.E. certification - Required
  • Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification - Required
