SECRETARY - TARGETED SERVICES MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM
2 temporary summer worker secretarial positions are available for summer school.
DATES & SUMMER HOURS:
Wednesday, June 10 set up day
Monday - Thursday
June 15 - 18 and June 22 - 25
HOURS: 7:30 am - 11:30 am (exact hours may vary by site). Assignments will be made based on student needs.
4.25 hours per day, plus up to 8 additional hours as needed per the Assistant Principal, which includes summer school set-up day and possible after-school Synergy training. Total hours up to 42.00
SITES: Anoka Middle - Fred Moore (includes Oak View Middle School), Northdale Middle (includes Roosevelt Middle)
SPECIAL NOTE: Indicate location preference on the Summer Program page of the A-H online application.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Receptionist - point of contact for the site. Provide general clerical support for the summer school staff including: assist with set-up/material distribution, answering phones; greeting students and families, managing attendance, contacting parents, copying and filing, staff support, managing the Synergy database (attendance, updates, class rosters, enrollment) and other duties as assigned by the summer school administrator.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication and public relations skills; experience working with Synergy attendance. Must be physically working in the building.
RATE OF PAY: New Hires $19.05. Current Secretaries accepting summer school secretarial employment shall be paid at their regular rate through their summer assignment. "Regular Hourly Rate" shall not include stipends for certificates. Summer employment does not affect eligibility for insurance, vacation, sick leave, or any other benefit. Assignments will be made based on students needs.
ACTIVE CASUAL HOURS AS NEEDED BASED ON ENROLLMENT.
