Job description

Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local is a hard services-led, tailored facility management solution. We self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to offer custom facility and project management solutions to our clients. We focus on empowering our team with a high-level of downstream accountability, resulting in an agile and efficient service delivery.
In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Classservices, including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
  • Operate snowplows, salt spreaders, and other snow removal equipment to clear roadways, parking lots, and walkways.
  • Apply salt and other de-icing agents to prevent ice formation
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
  • Wash and maintain snow removal equipment as directed
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of snow removal materials.
  • Respond to emergency callouts for snow removal as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B License with Tanker Endorsement
  • Experience operating snow removal equipment preferred
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in cold and wet conditions
  • Ability to operate equipment requiring repetitive hand and foot movement

Working Conditions
Work is performed primarily outdoors in all types of weather conditions on roadways that are often uneven have steep grades.
Note: This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of April 12th, 2026, but may be sooner as this position is dependent on weather conditions. Employment is dependent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening. This position will require membership or willingness to join Operating Engineers 324.*Should any element of this Job Description conflict with the provisions of an applicable collective bargaining agreement, the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement will prevail.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
