Job description

Russian/English Bilingual Legal AssistantJoin a Growing Personal Injury Law Firm Where Your Language Skills Make a Difference
Boohoff Law is growing — and we’re looking for a Russian/English bilingual Legal Assistant to join our team.
At Boohoff Law, we’re a people-first personal injury law firm dedicated to helping clients through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. We believe great client service starts with great communication — and being able to communicate with clients in their preferred language can make an enormous difference.
If you’re fluent in Russian and English, highly organized, great with people, and looking for an opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced law firm, we want to meet you.
The Opportunity
As a Russian/English Bilingual Legal Assistant, you’ll work closely with our Case Managers and support the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases.
You’ll help communicate with Russian-speaking clients, gather important case information, coordinate records and documentation, and help keep cases organized and moving forward.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, and being part of a team.
Your ability to communicate in Russian will allow you to make a meaningful difference in the experience of our clients.
What You’ll Do
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients in Russian and English.
  • Gather important case information directly from clients.
  • Request, track, and organize medical records and other case documentation.
  • Verify insurance coverage, policies, and related information.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other third parties.
  • Prepare, send, receive, and organize legal correspondence and documents.
  • Review medical and insurance documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist Case Managers with day-to-day case management responsibilities.
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure important tasks stay on track.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case information.
  • Help provide an exceptional client experience from the beginning of the case through resolution.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Fluent in Russian and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients in both languages.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • A strong communicator who knows how to listen and ask the right questions.
  • Professional, friendly, and compassionate with clients.
  • Proactive and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A dependable team player who is willing to jump in and help.
  • Positive, motivated, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems.
Personal injury or law firm experience is a plus, but it is not required for the right candidate. Experience in customer service, healthcare, insurance, administration, or case management is also valuable.
Why Boohoff Law?
We believe our people are our greatest asset. When you join Boohoff Law, you’re joining a team that wants you to succeed and grow.
What We Offer:
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Supplemental insurance options
  • Training and support
  • A collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Opportunities for advancement and promotion from within
  • The opportunity to grow your career with a growing personal injury law firm
