Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Office Clerk for a manufacturing plant in Santa Ana, CA. This is a temp-to-hire, first-shift position paying $18.50/hr. In this role, you will enter and verify production and shipping data, prepare daily and weekly customer invoices, and route completed documents to the appropriate departments. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime available as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, sort, and verify source documents to ensure accuracy before and after data entry.
  • Enter production and shipping data accurately using on-screen formats and codes.
  • Prepare daily customer invoices (Gemtech) and weekly outside processing invoices, then transfer to Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare C.O.D. invoices for shipped or picked-up orders and monitor open orders over one month old.
  • Contact supervisors or customers to resolve missing information or data inconsistencies.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls within the Planning Department.

Minimum Requirements
  • 1+ year of data entry, clerical, or office administrative experience.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (data entry, spreadsheets, email).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing invoices or working in accounts receivable support.
  • Background in a manufacturing, production, or industrial office environment.
  • Familiarity with document routing and records management workflows.
  • Experience verifying technical documents against customer specifications or work orders.
  • Conversational Spanish is a plus for coordinating with shop floor supervisors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English - written and verbal.
