SupervisionPositions in this classification are supervised by an elementary or special education principal. May provide or give work instruction to clerical workers, as required. Positions in this classification exercise no supervision.
Essential Job FunctionsDuties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Thirty months of clerical experience at the level of Clerk II or higher with the San Bernardino City Unified School District. -OR- Three (3) years of paid clerical or secretarial experience. -AND- High school graduation or the equivalent.

The Examination: Written Examination. Weight: 100%. Performance Examination. Weight: Pass/Fail. Bilingual Certification. Weight: Pass/Fail. This certification is required for bilingual positions in the class. Only qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the examination process. Successful candidates who pass all parts of the examination process will be placed on the eligibility list in order of their relative merit. Candidates will be notified in accordance with the Personnel Commission Rules. This eligibility list will be active for a period of (1) year.
