We are currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse (0.91 FTE โ€“ Evening Line) to join our Sun Pointe Village community in Kelowna. This role continues until the return of the incumbent and is a great opportunity to provide meaningful, person-centred care in a supportive long-term care environment.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership, deliver high-quality nursing care, and support residents with complex health needs while working closely with an interdisciplinary team.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at our Kelowna communities, you are a key leader in delivering compassionate, person-centred care. You support residents with complex health needs while fostering strong relationships within the team and broader community. Rooted in our ministry values, your role combines clinical excellence with servant leadership.

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards.
  • Conduct assessments, administer medications, and manage complex health conditions.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in quality improvement and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Model Baptist Housingโ€™s ministry values and practice servant leadership.
  • Work in a vibrant and scenic community in Kelowna, located in the Okanagan Valley.
Available Work: Temporary Part-Time (0.91 FTE), approximately 34 hrs/week | Evening Line
Commencement: April 20, 2026 โ€“ July 12, 2026 (or until return of incumbent)

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • A member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment, preferably.

Compensation & Benefits
Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91 as outlined in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement.
