The Rehab and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team!

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota Employment Type: Full-Time Bonus: $7.5K

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician
  • Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care
  • Provide patient and family education and emotional support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
Qualifications

· Current, active LPN license in the State of South Dakota or Compact

· Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)

· Strong clinical skills and sound judgment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
