Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry and PCU

We are currently in search of skilled Registered Nurses for per diem hospital roles in the Hampton Roads area, with shifts available from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.

Position Requirements
  • Valid RN License in Virginia
  • At least 2 years of recent nursing experience in the last 4 years in specialties such as Telemetry and PCU
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • ACLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within the last 12 months)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
  • Additional credentials may be necessary based on specialty and facility assignment

  • Provide safe and high-quality patient care in acute care hospital environments
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and their responses to treatments
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per physician orders
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and specialized equipment as required by unit assignment
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
  • Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Exhibit flexibility and professionalism while adapting to various hospital settings
