Job Description:

The Inventory Management B role supports the ADS-B program by coordinating daily inventory control, material movement, and asset tracking activities. This position is responsible for monitoring and processing shipment orders, receiving and processing purchase orders, tagging and logging new hardware assets, handling field return assets, coordinating vendor RMAs for repair, and monitoring warehouse inventory levels to ensure material availability and accurate records.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple inventory transactions while maintaining accuracy in warehouse and database systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and process orders for shipment in support of ADS-B program requirements.
  • Receive and process purchase orders and incoming hardware/materials.
  • Asset tag new hardware and enter required information into inventory or asset management databases.
  • Receive, inspect, and process field return assets in accordance with established procedures.
  • Initiate and process return material authorizations with vendors for repair or replacement of returned hardware.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory levels and support replenishment activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, asset movements, returns, and shipments.
  • Coordinate with program, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and engineering teams to ensure timely material support.
  • Verify received materials against documentation and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust Clearance is required prior to starting on day 1.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Requires the ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, electronics, or technical hardware programs.
  • Familiarity with asset tagging and serialized inventory tracking.
  • Experience processing return material authorizations, various equipment returns, and vendor repair transactions.
