Temporary Remote Work Referral Program information

What is a temporary remote work referral program?

A Temporary Remote Work Referral Program is a company initiative that allows current employees to refer qualified candidates for short-term remote job opportunities. These programs are designed to fill temporary roles that can be performed from any location, supporting business needs while offering flexibility. Employees who refer successful candidates may receive rewards or incentives, and referred individuals benefit from increased access to remote job openings. The program helps organizations quickly find suitable talent for temporary projects or seasonal workloads.

How do team members in a temporary remote work referral program typically stay connected and collaborate effectively?

In a Temporary Remote Work Referral Program, team members often rely on digital communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams to stay connected and coordinate their efforts. Regular virtual meetings, clear documentation, and shared project management platforms help ensure that everyone is aligned on goals and updates. Building rapport and maintaining open lines of communication are especially important, as the remote nature of the program can sometimes lead to feelings of isolation. Proactively reaching out to colleagues and participating in virtual team-building activities can also enhance collaboration and foster a supportive work environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a temporary remote work referral program coordinator, and why are they important?

To excel as a Temporary Remote Work Referral Program Coordinator, you need strong organizational skills, experience in recruitment or HR, and a solid understanding of remote work practices. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR software, and virtual communication platforms is often required. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and adaptability are critical soft skills for engaging candidates and stakeholders remotely. These skills ensure effective program management, smooth candidate experiences, and successful talent acquisition in a virtual environment.

Job description

Referral Coordinator / Director of Referral Partnerships

Pay: $15–$20 per hour
Plus: Commission + Bonus Opportunities from Day One
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Fully Remote

House of Hearts ABA is growing fast — and we’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Referral Coordinator (or Director of Referral Partnerships, depending on experience) to help us connect with the providers who serve children every day. If you love talking to people, building relationships, and being part of something meaningful, this role was made for you.

This is not just a job — it’s an opportunity to be the voice and personality that opens doors, builds trust, and helps families access life-changing ABA services. And yes, you can do it all from the comfort of your home.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the connector between House of Hearts ABA and the professionals who support children, including:

  • Pediatricians

  • OT, PT, and SLP clinics

  • Schools & school counselors

  • Daycares & early learning centers

  • Any child-serving provider who could refer families in need

Your mission: spark conversations, build real relationships, and create ongoing referral partnerships that bring more families into our care.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Make consistent outreach calls to providers

  • Build rapport and maintain long-term referral relationships

  • Follow up (professionally and persistently) until relationships are established

  • Track conversations, referrals, and follow-ups

  • Collaborate with our leadership team to refine outreach strategy

  • Hit weekly and monthly referral goals

  • Represent House of Hearts ABA with warmth, passion, and professionalism

  • Maintain reliable phone and internet service so outreach is never interrupted

What You Need
  • A working laptop/computer

  • A working phone with reliable service

  • Strong internet connection every day

  • Comfortable making a high number of calls

  • Organized, outgoing, and self-driven

  • Great communication skills

  • Experience in outreach, customer service, or partnerships is a plus — but personality and drive matter even more

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere with strong service

  • Fun, mission-driven team

  • Clear goals + financial upside

  • Commission and bonus opportunities right from the beginning

  • The chance to help families access the services they need

If you’re someone who enjoys connecting with others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow with a team that truly cares, we’d love to meet you.
